Butter Avenue is a cute little patisserie in downtown Toronto. On the main floor is where you can order your drinks and they have their cute and delicious looking treats on display. The service was incredibly friendly and brought my drink downstairs to me where the lounging area is. The decor is very modern and it was a comfy place to sit back and have a coffee. For some reason, maybe because I'm from the Pacific Northwest and have high standards, but it was really hard to get a good, strong americano in Toronto, but the iced americano from Butter Avenue was nice and strong, how I like it. It was a really good place to relax on a freezing winter's day in Toronto since their seating area is downstairs and away from the cold.
